While the big kids are away we have freedom to play with all their toys, and man, do we love it!!!

Now that Sara is beginning to read, she shares the gift with Callie and Tobin. This is great timing because Callie and Tobin are now really in to books. It helps to have multiple readers in the house :)

At Home Christmas Play

Sara directed another Christmas play this year. She also designed the costumes. Tobin and Jonas were shepherds. Callie and Sara were angels. Jon and I were Joseph and Mary. Sara had lines for everyone too. It was very cute. It is also sweet to see them get excited about the Christmas story.

Sara looses her first tooth

Sara lost her first tooth on Sunday, December 3. She was so excited. She had been waiting a long time for it to come out. At first, she didn't want to put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy because she wanted to keep it. We decided to write a note to the tooth fairy and ask if she could keep the first one since it was so exciting. The tooth fairy let her, which made Sara's day :)

Callie and Tobin 18 months

Callie and Tobin are now 18 months! They are so fun. They both love playing together, with Sara and Jonas and others. The other day they were walking around the house holding hands and talking to each other. This is also Callie's first time with pig tails. She actually left them in. Tobin found the pigtails fun too :)

Halloween 2011

We celebrated Halloween with a Fantastic Free for All at church on Saturday. We went Trick or Treating in our neighborhood and TT, Uncle Eddie and Aunt Kristina helped us pass out candy. Sara was an octopus, Jonas a pirate, Callie a ladybug and Tobin a monkey.

Jonas' Preschool Co-op

Jonas is part of a preschool co-op. We take turns hosting and teaching. Here he is with Justus, Chloe, Maribelle and Myla. We have had a lot of fun learning and playing together.

We had a wonderful time going on a hay ride, riding horses, eating donuts, drinking cider, and climbing all over the straw maze. We went with our friends Uncle Robert, Aunt Dirsa, Anna Grace and Liam. We were celebrating having them back from Japan and maybe began a new fall tradition :)

Wasem's Fruit Farm

We went to Wasem's in Milan to pick apples, but when we got there we saw the raspberries and got those instead. They were delicious! At the end we had to stop for some apple cider and donuts. Callie and Tobin enjoyed their first donuts, and shocker - they loved it!!
