Summer in March

        Summer in March has brought sun hats, sprinklers, water table, and outdoor dining.  Too bad it probably won't last. 

Outnumbered!

      It's official, trying to take these 4 kids to the park alone is not a good plan!  They are everywhere and into taking risks.  We have been loving the warm weather - we jusgt have to plan for a good child to parent ratio.

Cousins from PA

  We had a great time visiting with Kelsey, Carson and their mom, Anne, earlier in March.  It was a beautiful day, so we played outside.  Kelsey is now 4 and Carson is 8 months.  It's fun to have cousins close in age to play with! 

Dress up

          Sara, Jonas, Callie and Tobin frequently enjoy putting on plays for whoever happens to be around.  This was quite the mixture of costumes :)

Impatient

  I had just given Jonas and Tobin a bath, and while I was getting them dressed, Callie decided I was taking too long.  She hopped in the tub with all her clothes on and started playing with the water left in the toys.

  On Feb. 9th, Jonas figured out how to pump and swing on his own.  It was really exciting!

Sisters

 

Callie adores Sara.  She looks up to her so much!  Sara is an awesome big sis! 

Tobin's Big Fall

  Tobin took a tumble down our basement stairs, which if you've seen them they are killer.  He had a pretty bad cut.  I took him to the ER where they mended his open wound with glue and took a CAT scan.  Everything is okay, thankfully!  I was at the grocery store when Sara called and asked if I would be home soon.  That was a heart stopping experience.  We're so glad he's okay.  He was a real trooper through the whole experience.

Daddy Daughter Dance 2012

      Jon and Sara were able to enjoy another year at the Daddy Daughter Dance.  Sara's friends Ava and Anna Grace were also there.  Sar areally wanted her hair straightened for the event, so I did my best :)  They had a great time.  Although, it's more of a dance with friends event than dance with dad event.

Adoption Day 2012

  We celebrated Sara's adoption this year with a cake and little gift.  It was a neat experience to recount how God brought Sara into our lives and how thankful we are for that.  We had fun celebrating it, and it gave her an opportunity to ask some questions about her life story.  It is hard to believe it has been 5 years since she became a Bartholomay!  We are truly blessed and thankful for our Serenity Ann.
