Callie and Tobin's cakes

Carrie McMurran made yummy cakes for Callie and Tobin. She made them each their own "smash" cakes.

We celebarted Callie and Tobin's first birthday with relatives and a yummy cake. It was cute to watch their personalities emerge in cake eating. Callie took small delicate finger fulls and Tobin mashed and smeared and ate a lot more. They love sweets!

Callie and Tobin's Dedication

Callie and Tobin were dedicated at church. It was cool to give thanks for the gift they are and to give them back to God. It was also swee to to have the support of the church.

Fancy Nancy Party

Sara went to the Fancy Nancy Party hosted by the Milan Library. She had fun making a crown and bracelet, listening to two stories and doing a fashion show. Her friend Chloe was there too, which made it even more fun!!

Farm Night

I took the four kids to the Farm Night at Paddock Elemenraty school. Sara and Jonas enjoyed petting a donkey, chicken, goose, and rabbit. Sara milked a pretend cow and made butter. Callie and Tobin observed it all closely.

Jonas 3 Years Old

We celebrated Jonas' birthday with a Pablo cake. Sara hepled me make it. Jonas really enjoyed it. He loves the Backyardigans! He had lots of fun opening presents and playing with them. He has grown up so much in the last year. He has a great sense of humor, loves to play, wants to read all the time, and has a really great imagination. He said he really wants to go to school now that he is three :)

Callie and Tobin 11 months

Callie and Tobin are so fun at this age. They are both very active and want to always be on the move. Callie is figuring out how to "cruise". Tobin is beginning to pull half way up on things. They both love to laugh, chase the older kids around, and have a lot to say in baby. Both are picking up more signs, which has been fun.

The Zoo 2011

It was a beautiful May day, so we loaded up and went tot he Toledo Zoo. The kids all had a fun time. Tobin and Callie loved watching the animals. They seemed surprised that the animals were really moving. The animals were super active this year. The wolves were howling and the penguins were swimming. We also ran into some friends at the zoo, which made the whole trip even more fun.

Celebration

May is full of things to celebrate in our family. We combined Jonas' birthday, Mother's Day and my birthday with extended family. We had a very fun time and Jonas loved his blue cupcake. Tobin wanted to keep the bag.

Mom's Birthday

For my 31st Bday this year, Jon was out of town. So, my mom came over and made it a special day for me and the kids. We had lots of yummy food and just took it easy. Callie and Tobin were both sick so we decided to stay home. Sara and Jonas made presents for me on their own, which was so sweet.
