Voices

Callie and Tobin are now almost 12 weeks old!! It is hard to believe. They are becoming more animated and engaging. They both have their own voices, sweet smiles, and laughs. Tobin has a deeper laugh and Callie has a higher pitched gentle laugh. They both have sweet dispositions and love just being held and talked to. Callie is becoming less fussy in the evenings which has been a nice break. They both love staring at mobiles and enjoy the play mat. We feel so blessed by these two little ones. (photos by Sara)

New Swing

We got a new swing for our swing set. The kids love it. Jon had to do some serious work to get it up. Great job dad!!

6 to the zoo

We went as a family of 6 to the zoo when Callie and Tobin were 8 weeks old. It went pretty well. Jonas was really able to enjoy the animals this time. The highlights this time around were: 1. the new elephant area and were witnesses to the elephants using the bathroom, 2. the ducks (which we can see in Milan :), 3. the meerkats that were right up by the glass. Jonas still talks about it! :)

Chores

Sara has been very excited to help with "chores" around the house. The other day she wanted to learn to vacuum. She is a great helper! After vacuuming she said, "Do I get paid for helping?" And so it begins... :)

First family outing

On June 12th, we made our first outing as a family of 6. We went to Eddie and Kristina's wedding shower. It took 2 hours to get out of the house, 6 diaper changes and a few outfit changes. We have since become better at leaving the house, but it is still a process. Thank goodness it is warm and we don't need winter gear :)

Callie and Tobin - 1 month

Yikes! It's already been one month as of June 30th!! Time flies with four kids, not much sleep and lots of eating :) We are so thankful for all the help we have had. We have had lots of great meals, people helping with children, laundry, cleaning, shopping, everything! We can't imagine life without all of the support! Callie and Tobin continue to be more fun. They are now actively engaging us with their eye contact, smiles, coos and laughs. Callie seems to be the more serious, observant one. Tobin seems to be a jokester already. We are so blesed!

Jonas 25 months

He's growing.... His imagination is taking off as he plays with his toys. He now has conversations between the toys. He loves making people laugh and has quite the sense of humor. Jonas loves looking at books and having them read to him. We're really enjoying this age.
