When it's too quiet...

I wondered why it was so quiet. I was also enjoying the quiet, so I chose to wait, and what I discovered was that Jonas had found a pen and used himself and Callie and Tobin as his paper. No one seemed to mind, except me. I see the fun times to come.

Sara's 6th Birthday

We celebrated Sara's 6th Birthday with family. She wanted a Tinkerbell Party and cake. I did my best to make a Tinkerbell cake, but it didn't turn out so well :) She was a great encourager, though and said it was the best cake ever and her favorite cake. She received many great gifts and had a lot of fun being with family. It's hard to believe she's 6!!

Summer Fun

We've been able to spend some fun time outside this summer. We have a couple of friends with access to pools, and we have enjoyed swimming there. We've also started to use the wonderful lakes we have around here. Sara and Jonas have really enjoyed the lakes, and Callie and Tobin are starting to be less afraid of the water.

Callie and Tobin 13 months

Exciting things are occuring in their lives. Callie is walking more and more (she started one week before she turned 13 months). Tobin is picking up more words, like boat. They both are starting to do more pretend play with Sara and Jonas, like cooking in our pretend kitchen, making noises for cars. They both have great laughs and are happy most of the time. Callie is working on her fourth tooth and Tobin already has ten teeth, which makes night time interesting sometimes.

More 4th of July

We bought 250 sparklers at Sam's Club and the kids managed to get through all of them. It was about 45 minutes of fun :)

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July a day early with family. We got to see Uncle Jeff, cousins Max, Will and Reese, and Andrew and Grace. We all had a blast. An amazing moment occurred when Uncle Jeff picked up Callie and she was completely content to be held by him. She cries when anyone other than me, Jon or my mom pick her up. Apparently, Uncle Jeff has a magic touch with all our kids :) We celebrated with a small fireworks show and sparklers.

Sara's Preschool Graduation

On June 3, 2011, Sara graduated from preschool. She attended Paddock Early Childhood Center through the Milan schools. She really loved her teachers and the preschool. She will miss her teachers next year, but has said she is really excited to go to Kindergarten. They asked her what she wants to be when she grows up. Her answer was, "A rock star." Go Sara!! Bobba, Nine, TT, Uncle Eddie, and Aunt Kristina joined us for the graudation. They sang a couple of songs and were presented with their diplomas.
