Frankenmuth 2013

We went to Frankenmuth for a 24 hour get away.  The kids loved playing in the water and the arcade.  They acted like pros at dining out.  It took Callie and Tobin a while to warm up to the swimming idea, but once they did they didn't want to stop!

Easter Egg Hunt

We celebrated Easter at Granpa and Granma Bartholomays (Bobba and Nine).  The kids loved the Easter Egg Hunt.  They were joined by Andrew and Grace making for even more fun.  Uncle Mike had the genius idea of letting the kids hunt by age, so the little ones had a chance to find eggs.  They all had a grea time!

Easter Eggs 2013

One family tradition is to dye Easter Eggs.  This year, Callie and Tobin were able to participate on their own.  They really enjoyed it!  Sara and Jonas were able to perfect their artistic flair.

More Mackinaw City, Climbing the Overlook

Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City 2012

My apologies that these are so late being posted.  Our camera has not been working, so we've had few pictures to post.  Jon took some on his phone and I just recently got them to share.  We went for a 4 day stay to Mackinaw City and went to Mackinac Island for a day.  All four kids had a blast.  They love to travel.  The beach by the hotel left much to be desired, but we had fun anyway.  They tried to catch little fish with their hands, and Tobin freaked out about them.  We had beautiful weather, ate out (which I appreciated :), and just had fun being together.  They enjoyed the ferry ride to the island, biking around the island (which Sara did all by herself and made us work hard to keep up!), the butterfly house was a huge hit, and they loved hanging out by the water.

Pumpkins from 2012

This year we picked pumpkins as a family.  The kids had fun choosing their own.  Sara mostly carved her own - a peace sign - currently one of her favorite things.  Jon carved Batman for Jonas (I forgot to take a picture of it, though).  It's fun watching them get so excited about life!
