Bike Riding

Today, Jon introduced Sara to bike riding without training wheels. She had a great get comfortable round. He was with her the whole time. He held on to the back. It may be a while until she gets it, but she was having a blast trying. Jonas wanted his helmet on too and ran behind them the whole time pointing out his helmet. They are so fun. We've been loving the great weather. We've dug lots of holes in the ground, blown bubbles (Jonas mostly eats them trying to blow:), ridden bikes and cars, played on the swing set, and it's only March. More fun to come :)

Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday afternoon, we did an Easter Egg Hunt with friends from church. The kids had a blast! Jonas caught on pretty quickly. Sara loved it. It is one of the highlights of her year. She keeps asking when the next one is :) Since the hunt, both have been enjoying their treats and even sharing with their parents.

Easter Bunny

We stopped at Bronner's Christmas store. The Easter bunny was there that day. Both kids actually sat with him - sweet. We also finally got Jonas his baby's first Christmas ornament (only 2 years late :).

Married?

While having dinner at Zehnder's, Sara commented that our waiter was really nice. Then she asked if he had already married someone. So cute :) We were glad that noticing he was nice was a priority for her interest :)

Frankenmuth 2010

We took the kids to Frankenmuth for one last vacation before the twins arrive. We had a blast. It was nice to just relax and be together. We stayed at the Bavarian Inn, did lots of swimming, and playing. Jon and I also realized why we don't all sleep in the same room - we didn't sleep much at all :) Lots of great memories...

What we're up to now...

Sara loves drawing, coloring and crafts. She spends lots of time each day doing these things. She's now drawing houses and people with clothes, crowns, etc. She still loves her dogs and Coco is back in her life :) She is very creative with her dolls and little pet shop. She recently began playing restaurant and delivering food to those in need. She continues to amaze me with what she thinks about, how she communicates and the things she asks. She is a lot of fun. Jonas has been saying so many things. He sings part of the alphabet, loves doing motions with songs, such as Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Twinkle, Twinkle. He loves books and would have people read to him all day if he could. He plays a lot with balls, blocks, trains and loves doing whatever Sara is doing. He is at a really fun stage :)

"bright"

Every time we would ride in the car when it was sunny, Jonas would be saying "bright, bright" closing his eyes and trying to look away from the sun. So, we bought sunglasses and a hat. He has been enjoying the sun protection. Who knew an infant/toddler hat could be so big, though?
